This project involved the construction of a Concrete Cable Stayed Bridge across the river Yamuna at Allahabad / Naini on NH-27 in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work included the construction of a 4-lane Concrete Cable Stayed Bridge with an approach road on both sides consisting of four modules. Total length of this bridge is 1510 m. Indian Institution of Bridge Engineers awarded this project the Ninth Most Outstanding Bridge National Awards 2004 – for Excellence in Bridge Engineering. The Naini Bridge won the First Prize in Category IV. The project has been executed by HCC in joint venture with M/S Hyundai, Korea.
